Brad’s Reader 5-Year Anniversary Celebration: Win a $25 Amazon Gift Card!

Dec 20 2011

This month marks the 5-year anniversary of Brad’s Reader! In late December 2006 I began this blog using Google’s Blogger platform to write mostly about literature and philosophy.

Since then, Brad’s Reader has morphed from literature, to reading and writing, to technology. None of the changes were planned, they just sort of happened. As a result, the number of unique visitors has risen dramatically every year since.

In celebration of this 5-year anniversary, and the holidays, I’m giving away a $25 Amazon Gift Card!

Here’s how you can enter to win: Leave a comment naming the best book you read in 2011. It doesn’t have to be a new book, it can be any book. Just you favorite book of the year. That’s it! Doesn’t get any easier than that. The winner will be chosen at random by yours truly.

Please read the following rules carefully:

  1. There will be only one winner.
  2. The $25 Amazon Gift Card will be delivered via email to the winner.
  3. The gift card will be in US dollars ($) only.
  4. No substitutions.
  5. Family & friends are not eligible.
  6. NO SPAM!!! If you’re promoting Viagra, get-rich-quick schemes, herbal supplements, etc., you will not win & your comment will be deleted.
  7. One entry per person only! Yes, I will check.

Remember, you’re leaving a comment, do not use the contact form to send to me personally. Those entries will not be considered (gotta keep it fair).

Deadline

This contest will end at 12PM (noon) Central Standard Time (US) on Friday December 23, 2011. Any entry after that time will be disqualified.

Good luck, everyone!

  5. I read a lot of books this year but the one that I loved the most was “Mister Slaughter” by Robert McCammon. It had three things I love: historical aspect, mystery, and a wicked but intelligent villain!

    Thanks and happy holidays!
