My favorite haiku comes from a t-shirt (you might have seen this):

Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don’t make sense
Refrigerator

Thanks man. I started by skimming this, because I’m in a hurry. “Naps” caught my eye. Then I fast-forwarded to “reading”. Finally, I read the whole thing slowly, exhaling noisily at “meditation”. In honour of your post, I then wrote a haiku:

Climb Mount Debtna, oh Benny
But slowly, slowly

Seriously though, I really needed this. Good job.

Thank you for your comment and your kind words. I almost always listen to music while I write. It help get my creative juices flowing. And I was actually skeptical of meditation before I tried it. But meditation works! It’s great to be able to clear out the cobwebs in the mind and get a fresh perspective on life.

Great article. Sometimes I do listen to music when I write. I love music! I’m getting back to meditation and becoming still. I’ve been too noisy lately, now wonder I’ve been feeling confused! Once I became still and quiet, I was able to focus and receive clarity as to who my clients are. It was a big help.
