Friday Link Love 9/11 (Late Edition)

Sep 11 2009

This week’s installment of Friday Link Love is being posted a little later than I normally like. The biggest reason is that I spent half the day finishing up a large freelance writing project and the other half cleaning up the house for dinner guests. I also wanted to delay posting out of respect for 8 year anniversary of 9/11. I watched a little of the coverage and it brought back some horrible memories.

Probably the biggest news in Brad’s Reader world is that I participated in my first interview on Wednesday. You can read more about it on this previous post. I will admit that I was a little nervous but overall I felt good about doing the half hour show.

Tomorrow I’m off to a craft fair in Chicago, which is always a lot of fun. I like seeing all these indie crafters out there making a living without the drag of a 9-5 job. If I find anything/anyone interesting, especially chapbooks or other handmade books, I’ll be sure to feature them right here on Brad’s Reader.

It is Friday (at least for a few more hours) and I hope all of you have a happy and safe weekend!
