New design, new features, same blog

Don’t worry, the intertubes aren’t broken. This is the same Brad’s Reader, just with a new, improved and upgraded design. My blog also has a few new features as well. Here’s a rundown of what’s new:

- More categories: The categories have been updated to reflect how Brad’s Reader has evolved over the last year or so. You’ll find a handful of new categories and a few old ones are still around. This will make finding posts that interest you easier (i.e. there is now a category for ebooks!).

- Related posts: You will now see a small list of similar posts under each one. I’m actually really excited about this feature. When I first started Brad’s Reader, I did this manually. But as the blog grew it became impossible to go back and find related posts.

- Comments: The comment feature is greatly improved. You’ll find the oldest comments at the top and the newest near the bottom. Also, you’ll be able to subscribe to follow-up comments. On the back end the comments are improved as well. Once I approve your comment the first time, then all future comments you make will be automatically approved.

- Search: You can now search my blog using the search box on the left.

- Contact me: Yes, now you are able to contact me using the link in the upper right. So feel free to drop me a message if you have a question, comment about me or my blog, or just want to say hi (I like it when people say hi).

There are more new features than what I’ve covered here. But the aboce list is what I feel are the important ones that will greatly help you find and read what you are looking for when you read this blog.

As always, whenever there is a new design and site upgrade there will probably be some bugs. Please let me know if you find any broken links, features that don’t work, comments don’t work, etc. If no one tells me, I’ll never know about it and the problem won’t get fixed. Just go to the Contact page and shoot me a quick message.
