Read an Ebook Week now in progress…what are you reading?

Mar 09 2009

I’m a little late in posting about this, since it’s the second day of the official Read an Ebook Week, which kicked off yesterday, and I only remembered after reading this post from the great folks at Teleread! To participate, read an ebook – simple, right?

If you own a Kindle or Sony Reader, you are set. Find a book you want to read and go at it. If you are a iPhone/iPod Touch owner, you have no excuse either. You can chose from Stanza, Fictionwise’s eReader, and now the Kindle app. Each offers a wide range of ebooks. You can easily find book that fit your budget with all the option available, and there are plenty of free ebooks out there.

I’m reading the book Marked Man by William Lashner on my iPhone. I’m reading the book on my new Kindle app to test it out, you can read a more detailed review in this earlier post. Once I finish the book I will try to post a follow-up, with some more thoughts/impressions about the Kindle app and ereading in general. So stay tuned…

What ebook are you reading for Ebook Week? What device will you do your reading on (and yes, your desktop/laptop computers count)? Give us the details in the comment area below! I look forward to reading your responses.
