Friday Link Love 02/13

Feb 13 2009

Happy Friday the 13th! While this is supposed to be an unlucky day, I don’t see how that’s possible, given it’s Friday (there’s nothing ever bad about it being Friday).

This past week I found myself a little sick. On Monday I awoke with an extremely sore shoulder and upper back. On Wednesday I was feeling nauseous and lightheaded. Yesterday I was feeling better, but still not 100%. I’m still a little sore, but nothing a few extra strength Tylenol can’t fix.

To top off feeling under the weather, my Mac decided to crash on me Monday night. I’m pretty sure it’s the hard drive, something that is being replaced. But I’m still worried about my iTunes stuff, since it hadn’t been backed up in a while. Any advice regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated!

For many here in the U.S. this will be President’s Day Weekend (i.e. 3-day weekend), making today especially sweet. But what makes it even more sweet is that today is Friday Link Love day!!! So here are some links for your reading enjoyment that I found while scouring the internet.

As always, have a happy and safe weekend!

  1. Hi, I happen to chance upon your blog through other blogs. I just want to comment a bit about the links on your blog. For instance, the link back to your homepage isn’t particularly obvious and I had to hover around my cursor to find it. I wanted to find out more about the author of the blog (my habit) after reading one of your posts that I found interesting ( I read the post which is about the lack of translated books in US). However, I again could not find the link until I randomly scroll down the page. You may want to consider placing the important links at the top left-hand corner of your home page. Just a suggestion.

@ goodidea – Thank you for your comment! I always like to hear feedback and suggestions because I need to know how others view my blog.
I’m aware of the issues you commented on and my blog is going to be undergoing a major overhaul this year. Part of that will be making those important links very easy to find.
Thanks again for your comment and I hope you come back and visit again soon!
