As you mentioned I enjoy that sort of just printed &quot;mint&quot; book smell (I swear they could make a killing off of if it were a fragrance), however I&#039;m a college student so I&#039;ve grown accustomed to the moldy &quot;oldie&quot; appeal of library books. I like how books in the library are sort of apart of the community.
I love bookstores, because it&#039;s like an experience. You could listen to a bit of music, sip hot coffee, and read. It can be quite a comfortable atmosphere. I haven&#039;t bought any books of late. I have received two as a gift. The last book I bought was last summer ( into the wild). The last book I borrowed was more recent (Human).
