@RJL – don’t think that comparing this to a criminal prosecution is fair, as Palin is not on trial and doesn’t need to be convicted beyond a reasonable doubt.
I think what the author is trying to say is that “the list” isn’t the only evidence of Palin trying to ban books. She talked about it in a Town Hall meeting, and tried to get the librarian fired.

And the lack of photographs and video and fingerprints and eyewitnesses and dna is not evidence that you didnt want to commit violent felonies.
Sheesh.
