Snow storm pounds Chicago!

The snow has been falling all night around Chicago. Needless to say, I haven’t even left for work yet because I’m pretty much "plowed" in right now. And I don’t feel like spending another 2 hours stuck in rush hour traffic like I did last night. So I’m going to wait a little longer and let things settle down.

You might not be able to tell from the pictures, but there’s probably a good foot of snow on the ground. Today is a good day to sit at home and get a lot of reading done, and maybe a little writing too.

I, too, am currently plowed in by the snow in Chicago. And I mean literally…a snow plow has blocked my car in and I’ll have to dig to get it out. I agree, it’s a good day to stay in and get some reading done.

I finally managed to dig myself out and I made it to work 2 hours late.
At least the roads were somewhat clear this morning and even better tonight. I can’t stand sitting in traffic not going anywhere.
