Friday Link Love 02/22
First, I want to thank all those who have left a comment during the last week! I always appreciate hearing from people who read this blog, and I hope that you’ll comment again soon.
Secondly, Friday is finally here! For some reason, this week has really dragged by. I guess knowing that it’s still February, it’s still cold and snowy (at least here in the midwest) and knowing that my next scheduled 3-day weekend isn’t until May (Memorial Day, for those of you in the US), has really made the days go by slow. Weekends are really the only refuge for the day-to-day drudgery of being a working stiff.
Finally, to kick your weekend off to a good start, I have spent countless hours trolling the internet for blog posts I think you’ll find interesting and/or entertaining. So enjoy the reading and have a safe and relaxing weekend!

A very interesting post about how different parts of the brain are activated when reading a book than when listening to an audio book.
Great firewall of China may hinder blogging Olympians
China doesn’t have a very good record when it comes to free speech and internet censorship. Add that to the rules the IOC has laid out and Olympians may find it hard to blog at all!
Random Post from Brad’s Reader
Here’s a post that I dusted off from the spring 2007. I’ll give you a hint: poetry + ruthless dictator = ?
