Giving out some Link Love!

Sep 17 2007

I read a lot of blogs and websites on a daily basis to try and keep up with things going on in the vast world of publishing, writing and literature. That said, I thought it’s time for a little "Link Love" to show my appreciation for some of these sites. By no means is this a comprehensive list, and it’s in no particular order:

Print is Dead: Books in our Digital Age – This blog talks about the technological influences on publishing, and as the title suggests, print books might be on their way out to make room for new ways of consuming literature.

Copyblogger – While not a "literary" blog, it does give some excellent writing tips. If you’re a commercial copywriter, or just doing a little blogging on the side, this blog is highly recommended.

Joe Wilkert’s Publishing 2020 Blog -  A great blog  that discusses the future of publishing. I’ve actually  only started reading this blog recently, but I always look forward to new posts!

The Writing Life – An excellent blog about the world of writing and publishing!

Writing Fiction – A blog about writing novels and short fiction with some excellent tips and an overall good read.

This list only represents a small sample of all the various blogs I read. I’m going to make the "Link Love" posts a regular feature here, so whenever I come across a great blog or website dealing with writing and literature, I will let all of you know about it.
